What this site is for

This website belongs to Pretoria Hamere Noh Kidane Mihret Church. It exists to tell you about the parish, its worship, and the faith of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, and to let you get in touch with us.

You are welcome to read it, and to share links to it, without asking permission.

Service times and dates

Times, feast dates, and announcements shown here are published in good faith, but they can change — sometimes at short notice, and sometimes for reasons no website can anticipate.

Before travelling to a service, especially for a feast or a first visit, please telephone the parish to confirm. The number is on the Contact page and in the footer of every page.

Content and images

The text, photographs, and icons on this site belong to the parish or are used by it with permission. Please ask before reproducing them elsewhere, particularly photographs of members of the congregation and images of sacred icons.

Scripture, liturgical texts, and the teaching of the Church quoted here belong to the Church and are reproduced with reverence, not claimed as our own.

Using the contact form

Please use the contact form for genuine enquiries. Do not use it to send advertising, abusive messages, or anything unlawful.

A message sent through this site is not a confidential or pastoral confession. For anything requiring privacy or the counsel of a priest, please speak to one of the clergy in person.

Where this site links to another — a diocese, a monastery, or a source for the Church’s teaching — that site is not under our control and we are not responsible for what it publishes.
